LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Halo Mental Health has expanded its services in the Las Vegas Valley with the opening of a second location in Summerlin on August 4, 2025. The new facility aims to increase access to immediate mental health care, including for children as young as eight years old.
Paul Manley, CEO of Halo Mental Health, emphasized the importance of urgent care for mental health, noting that about 20 percent of the population lives with a mental health condition. "One in every five people, and this includes both adults and teens," said Manley. He highlighted Nevada's shortage of mental health providers, which falls below the national average.
The Las Vegas Sun reported in April that more than 100 people per day visit hospital emergency rooms for mental health concerns in Clark County, placing a significant strain on emergency departments.
The new Summerlin location offers a variety of therapy options, including group therapy for adults and individual therapy for adults, teens, and older children. Same-day appointments for psychiatry are available, allowing for immediate prescription refills and ongoing medication management.
"We chose to open in Summerlin because it's such an active family community as well as a retirement community," said Manley. "We’re hoping to provide a much-needed service that will be convenient for people in this part of the valley."
Halo Mental Health's services are available to anyone, including visitors. Manley shared an instance where a European tourist was able to receive a same-day prescription refill after misplacing their medication, preventing a potential emergency room visit.
Halo Mental Health's locations are at 400 Shadow Lane, Suite 207, and 1707 Village Center Circle, Suite 250.
